Terms and conditions

Tracium records visits to sites you add, and requests that pass through the proxy, including crawlers. You get a dashboard for that data.

You are responsible for the sites you connect, the snippet you install, and the DNS records you publish.

You need an account to create projects. Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for activity under that account.

Sign-in is a code emailed to you, or Google or GitHub followed by that same code. Use an address you control.

Only add domains you are allowed to operate. The proxy forwards traffic to the origin you set. A wrong origin sends visitors to the wrong place.

The certificate we issue is for routing your hostname through the proxy. It is not a general certificate service.

Do not use Tracium to break into systems, hide the source of an attack, send spam, or collect data from people you have no right to measure.

Do not point the proxy at a site you do not control, or use it to interrupt someone else's service.

You own the analytics recorded for your projects. We store it to run the product: to show you the dashboard, to name bots, and to keep the proxy routing.

Deleting a project deletes the events stored for that project. See the privacy page for what is collected.

The dashboard, script, and proxy are provided as they are. We may change, pause, or remove parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted collection or delivery of traffic.

If the proxy is unavailable, requests to a hostname that depends on it may fail until DNS is pointed somewhere else.

You can stop using Tracium at any time. Remove the script and the CNAME from your DNS so traffic no longer passes through the proxy.

We may close an account that breaks these terms, or that we cannot keep running.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continuing to use Tracium after an update means you accept the new terms.
